It was awesome. I watched it through my telescope, but it actually looked better to the naked eye (the colours were more vivid). Here in Newcastle, we had the benefit of a completely clear sky. The moon went grey, then bright pink, then dull red/pink before the it moved out of the shadow of the Earth and lit up the streets. It was really dark during the eclipse. I tried a few photos, but they didn't work (I'm no photographer) otherwise I'd post a link for you, sorry to hear you got poor view, I feel like I'm rubbing your nose in it! Sorry..

hi, (ANS) specific!! the lunar eclipse replace right into a impressive sight from Leeds West Yorkshire. observed the tip component to the eclipse at evening. The moon replace into 0.5 blood pink, 0.5 mid gray and to the left side a slither of vivid white because of the fact the sunlight got here lower back and the earths shadow moved off. beautiful sight nevertheless. Greetings from Central Finland!

Lunar eclipse was very easy to observe here because the sky was all clear and all the different shades were visible. Moon was coloured with copper, scanted with brighter edge, at 1:00 FT (= 23:00 GMT).

Waiting for the next eclipses!

It was amazing! I watched the shadow of the Earth creep up the face of the Moon and was awestruck. For once it was a beautifully clear night and there was nothing to spoil the view at all, just great.

Here in Northern Iraq it was pretty good. It wasn't a total eclipse, but more of a rosey red filter going across the moon.

Well it was brilliant here by Loch Ness in Drumnadrochit. It went a dark copper colour and looked great. Here we don't get the light pollution that you might get in Glasgow.

I live on the north wales/England border and we had a very good view, it went a dark orange colour and as another answer has said it looked like we had another planet in the sky.

I live on the North Kent coast and last night we had 100% cloud cover. At least you got to see something, although it doesn't sound like I missed much.

The view in Exeter was amazing! It was so clear and red! I've seen a solar ecplise but never a lunar one so it was really exciting!

In Hertfordshire I had a wonderful view. But it was blooming cold in the garden so I had to keep coming back in!
