My washine machine isn't filling to the same level as it used too, I have had this problem for a few years now, I bought a washing machine from a shop, the owner tested it out for me and the water level was visible in the door, when I got it home the machine was not filling to the same level. I would like to solve this problem because my clothes do not smell clean and are hard when dry and sticky when wet. Its not the machine because I have had 2 others, I have a miele at the moment and they are supposed to be a good machine. Thankyou.

Have you tried to see if the floor that the machine is sitting on is level, if it's not it causes all sorts of problems like draining and that kind of thing that is what happened to us just adjust the little feet on the machine and have a spirit level handy to check.

You really need a washing machine engineer, or Meile's service dept. not a plumber. The water pressure would have no effect, as the programme would not start until the level was correct. It's either on half load or the water level sensor (usually an air switch) is faulty.
