Do ghosts and ghoolies not come out in the day? It would make it much easier to spot them in the day ;)

well it doesn't but the effect is better, or at least that's what the TV people think, but there are other thing to thing about, first a lot of it is live, so to attract an audience it needs to go out at night, in the day time there is a lot more going on so the cameras would pick up a lot more of what's going on, things that have nothing to do with the spirit world, and yes and no to your question ghosts, or spirits they come out, well no they are around us all the time, so it's not a question about coming out, and no it would not be easier in the day time, for the things i have said, of course if we were able to go in to a house and it was peace and quite all around then it would be OK, but don't forget a lot of things can be explained to be other tings other than spirits, having said i have been around many, and hope to continue to do so.

There are many ghosts and whatnot that appear during the day. But people don't take them seriously unless it's after dark because that's what society has told them over the years is the only right and acceptable way of doing things.

its crazy they should do daytime and night vigils but what gets me is in all the series there has been no true evidence of ghosts id just love it if a ghost came to the camera and said BOO! now thats proof

I guess it adds to the suspense and the spookiness of the whole show..
and just a show i think it is, i dont believe in it and i think its a load of rubbish. I think that ghosts if they exist would come out any time of day.

the orbs show up better at night. Ghosts/spirits are around during the day but because there is much more going on ie noise etc they don't get 'notice' as much. at night its quieter so people hear/notice more.

becuase one the most important ways for scaring is to do it at nights. on the other hand, at night many of the detailed things in the scene can not easily be seen so that also causes horrror.

You can see the "Orb's" better in night vision on the camera and in the words of Mr derick acorah spirits like the dark better No Known reason they just do.

Because it makes the lie more plausible.
Simple people are more likely to be taken in by this nonsense if it occurs during darkness because popular culture tells us that ghosts only appear during the 'witching hour'.
Of course, in reallity they don't appear at all. Because they don't exist!
