I have been a member of Poetry.com for many years and recently i went to my page of stored poems and many were missing. Contact is nearly impossible with this website. No e-mail, just phone # and address. I have written to no avail and I have called to be put on hold for very long periods of time never to talk to anyone. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the final solution?

I *did* use them, about six years ago. I stopped when they started emailing me constantly about all these weird offers, not to mention insisting that I put out money to get some "prize" or whatever.

Six years later, I STILL get some of their bogus emails.

I'm sorry to hear about the site error with your poems...but if you were just looking for a place online to host your poetry, and not looking for some kind of prize, why not try some more reliable site? Http://www.deviantart.com has a poetry and prose section--they also allow your poem to be however many lines you'd like it to be, they won't contact you via Email, and they will notify you if your poem is going to be deleted (which they will only do if it goes against their rules somehow).
