there is no such thing as a born orator...this is a skill that must be learned as any other skill.

you lack stage presence and this could be overcome in a group called the "toastmasters" as they are a great way to overcome stage freight
also Dale Carnegie sp? courses are excellent or any college speech and communications class..practice ..this is the only way...great speakers are not born that way

You need a boost of self confidence. Know your topic well & make sure you support whatever you say; provide evidence. Try practicing among people you know. Such as family & friends. Practice makes perfect.

When u stand up on stage, dont look at the audience. Instead look right ahead; Dont show your nervousness. Change your mind frame, know ur the best. Take this as a challenge :)

I'm sure you'll do well :)

Get into acting lessons that force you to be on the stage on a regular basis. Or go to open mike night at local comedy club until you are comfortable being in front of a crowd.

Take a look at Toastmasters - they've been around for a long time and focus on practicing and improving public speech in a group setting. You should probably find a group near you by googling.

Don't judge a book by its cover, get Paul McKennas - Instant Confidence, your confidence will increase massively. Or alternatively get some of Dale Carnegies stuff
