One way I knew is when I could stick my fingers inside my vagina (which I have to do for medical treatment purposes when it comes to some of the medication I have to insert).

Another way I knew is when I could see a bit more of the inside of my vagina with the mirror. I couldn't see the actual hymenal remnants but I could feel them with my fingers.

I have to also agree with the other posters about going to a dr to double check to be on the safe side even though you don't feel comfortable with doing that.

First step is to actually go to a doctor, even if you don't want to. Second, if you are brave, use a mirror and see for yourself if it is or not. If you've had sex, it is most likely broken. Same deal if you do any sports or activities like ballet or gymnastics.

It really doesn't matter. Men love mindless sex, not virtuous women, anymore.
