Is there a program that works like windows movie maker, but that I can use to edit real files rather than mp3 files?

Yes. Just go to www.real.com and click on their products link. It will give a list of all the software available to work with their files. Also, if you want a third party software to do it, check www.download.com and search for it. Good luck.
