It depends on which era of WWE you are refering to. I have to say of all time, It would be LOD (Legion Of Doom) also known as The Road Warriors. This tag team was the only tag team to hold every major tag team title available while they were a tag team, including the NWA, AWA, WCW, and WWE Tag Titles. I'm sure if Hawk was alive today that their team would still be around and maybe have had even more titles in the indy circuits as well as those of ECW and other promotions. I say the only ones to come in a close second would be Team 3d of TNA who has held WWE, WCW, and ECW Titles and hopefully soon will hold the NWA Titles as well.

Edge and Christian. They had the Gimmick. The style. And were 11 time Tag Team Champions. One of the best Heel tag teams of the day. They worked real well as a tandom. Plus after they split they both went on to have success as singles competitors. The only other Tag Team to go on to have Singles success are the Hardy Boyz. But The best goes to Edge and Christian cause:

15x Tag Champion
4x Intercontinental Champion (???)
Christian:
3x Intercontinental Champion
13x Tag Champion
2x Hardcore Champion
Current NWA World Champion
The facts are here. The LOD doesn't have this Accumen. Neither do the Hardys. The Dudleys don't have this accumen. The closest would be the Rockers. And I don't consider them a good tag team.
(I don't consider DX a Tag Team. As They are a Faction. Evolution is the same. )

You all rememeber the four way ladder match @ Armageddon yeah? How cool would that have been with this line up Brothers of Destruction, The Legion of Doom, The Hardy Boyz and Team 3D. I don't know about you guys but i think that is possibly the most awesome Multi team match you could fantasize about.

The best team on paper would prolly be Stone Cold and the undertaker..Yes they tagged a few times and even held the tag team championship if i remember correctly
