water hardness level?

can any one tell me the level of water hardness for the dorset area in uk?

I can vouch for the fact that the water in Weymouth (Dorset) is of average hardness. You don't notice any particular difference when washing with soap (or looking in the kettle) than in the Midlands. Move south, and Oxford has harder water, Go west, and the water in Birmingham is much softer - because the water comes from Wales.
