Yes, many will because they are so misinformed.

Think about it; Omaba's father, stepfather and grandfather were Muslims. He was by Islamic law born a Muslim. This cannot be changed.
Mohammed said if anyone turns his back on Islam, kill him. Why no death threats by radical Muslims? Do they know something we don't?

Obama became a Christian when he started having political ambitions. (read up on his church for a shock) How do we know he's a Christian? Because he says so?
The principle of Al-Takeyya conveys the understanding that Muslims are permitted to lie.

He is indeed a liar. Not only about being a Muslim has he lied, but he stated that his father was a 'goat herder' when he was a prosperous farmer. He's an admitted drug user. He was involved in a shady real estate deal with a guy who associated with radical Muslims. He has demonstrated his immaturity by trying to get Fox banned from his news conferences, and by warning against making fun of his ears. He's an empty suit pimped by the media.

As someone said, the presidency is not an entry level position.

This is not racist. Muslim is not a race. Muslims are composed many different races.

As stupid because it sounds, i imagine that there'll be truly some those who're small minded sufficient to make certain his call as between the excuses now to not vote for him, regrettably individuals in some aspects are nonetheless residing with a many years previous backward mentality. i recognize this guy for what he's attempting to achieve, yet in reality i don't think of he's sweet for Presidential place of work, which has easily no longer something in any respect to do with his race or his call, with the exception of i imagine it truly is a reliable issue for united statesa. to have a non white president to stop this theory of one race questioning it has the in reality suitable to be classed as a real American in line with their epidermis colour.

I don't think the name makes much difference. If Ronald Reagan was named Pigeye Jackson he still would have gotten my vote.

If Barack Obama were named George Wilson he would not. It's the politics, values, personality and policy of the candidate that matter to me.

I, white, raised in the South, 60, independent, male would, if he had better qualifications. A fledgling senator with no international experience is not what the USA needs as a President right now. I wish Colin Powell would run.....
I won't vote for Hillary, a shrub of any type, Gore or several others either.

Why do these people keep hammering on the name? Isn't there something more useful or informative they can offer for discussion? Seems to me that's all they have so far. With elections a year and a half away, desperation is already setting in. Wow this is going to be a fun show next year!

This American is going to. I think people are getting too hung up on his name. Personally, I don't care what his name is or what religion he subscribes to, as long as he has good ideas about what to do with our country, and the skill to carry those ideas out. And, for all of the people who say that he is Muslim--that simply is not true. He is Protestant, and he went to church in Chicago regularly when he was living there permanantly. There is more to a person than just a name, Folks!

He's doing well. I don't understand why I keep seeing his name on Yahoo Q/A as "Hussein."
Seriously.

I cannot speak for everyone, but a person's name means nothing to me. I would not vote for Obama simply because he has zero qualifications to be President.

Obama has only 2 years experience in the senate. He is an admitted marijuana and cocaine user. He was not raised in the United States and went to the same islamofascist schools that many terrorists attended.

Lets see....an inexperienced crack head who has terrorist roots? I think NOT.

What's so strange about his name? I'ts only a cross between a Mortal Kombat character, a genocidal dictator (hey relax fella, you need to take a rest guy!) and the world's most wanted man and al Qaeda leader!!!
