i have this sharp pain from my belly button up, it feels the same as the attacks i use to have when i had gullbladder stones ( they removed my gullbladder) and it comes with having to goto the washroom, nausia, and sharp pain that goes through to my back. tums seem to be doing the trick to make it go away.. but ive been waking up to this pain every morning for a few days now, and am unable to sleep when i have it. whats the cause of this problem? whats wrong with me? please help!

i also sometimes get gassy with it

I can't answer on a cause but I would recommend that you talk to your dr about it so that they can check to see what's going on.
