I have gone in September for the past 2 years. (This is pretty much hurricane season) In 2005, the year of Katrina, we were there and a hurricane passed in the Gulf of Mexico. We had cloudy days and a couple of hours of rain. Other than that, it was warm and lovely. I am sure October is probably even better than that.

October is my favorite time to visit. The weather just starts to cool down a bit, but it is still plenty warm. You may need a light sweater in the evenings, but that is typically around late October to early November. October is also great because the crowds are low and the hotel prices lower.

I went early October 2 years in the past and the climate replace into fab. It replace into interior the 1890s so it replace into nonetheless warm and the parks have been extremely quiet because of the fact the yankee childrens are in college. i think of the longest we waited in a queue for the parks replace into 10 minutes so because it is not something whilst in comparison with the time-honored a million - 2 hours. i might desire to bypass back to Orlando and that i might somewhat bypass back in October. have exciting!

DO NOT GO TO ORLANDO IN OCTOBER...

now that I've got your attention I cannot stress this enough...
My Fiancee and I hated Kissimee...we went there this past October and there were millions and millions of LOVE BUGS!!

coming from a guy who really doesn't mind bugs....I don't know how those people put up with it! I mean you ask the locals and they just shrug it off "oh they are just love bugs they wont bite"

No they dont bite but from my hotel door to the car (about 50 feet) I'd have like 9 of them attached to me...you CANNOT go outside....

Well, - I can speak, from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, on this point. I WENT, myself, - back in October, 2005! It really, DEPENDS on what SORT of weather you ENJOY.

Like you appear to be, I was wondering what kind of WEATHER we'd have, - and, BOY, - OH, BOY, - did I get the SHOCK of my LIFE! We arrived, at around 1330hrs., (local time) on October 8, - and, - as we were in the airport, for a while, - I was getting quite ACCLIMATISED, to the conditions! I didn't REALISE, though, that the airport had AIR CONDITIONING! Imagine the SHOCK, therefore, when, - on LEAVING the airport BUILDING, - BANG!!!! A sheer "WALL OF HEAT" just "HIT ME", like a TEN-TON TRUCK! It took me a matter of SECONDS, to get USED to it, and, - because, the place, where we stayed, ALSO, had "AIR-CON", - I often said, after THAT point, that:- "I'M GOING OUTSIDE, - FOR A WARM!"

Be aware, though, that, - even though it DOES rain, from time to time, - there's NOTHING to worry about, - even tthe RAIN is WARM!

THAT was MY experience, - and, I, - TRULY, - HOPE, from the BOTTOM OF MY HEART, that YOU ENJOY yourselves, as MUCH as my family and I DID!
