It might be too late for this now, but worth a try. When I get any type of grease or oil on clothes, I immediately put powder on the spot, It can be any powder like baby powder etc. I have even used my compact face powder when I have been in public. If you do this-put on the inside of the garment because it has color and will be noticed. Leave the powder absorb some of the oil, squirt dawn liquid on spot, rub in and let sit for a while. Then run extremely hot water through the spot. This has worked many times for me.

Well as you have washed it it´s going to be even harder to get it out . Take a big spoon of baking Powder add a small amount of water and pour over the oil stain leave like this for 20 min´s then rinse in cold water , keep doing this till it lifts the stain , you might be lucky

It might be too late now, but this is worth a try. Washing up liquid rubbed gently into the splashes, then wash as usual. It works for me every time on fresh splashes! Try to use a neutral colour w/up liquid, as if it's a pale colour garment, it might stain. I use ecover (UK), Good luck!

To get oil off dishes use washing up liquid, same for clothes I've found. Use Fairy liquid or somilar neat on the oil stain, then wash in your machine in the normal way.

I've had success spraying a degreaser called Greased Lightening directly onto the stain just before laundering.

Try covering the grease mark with Fairy Liquid (no other brand seems to work), leave for a couple of hours or overnight to work, then wash in the machine. This has never failed for me.

I would wet stains with a little warm water and then apply neat washing up-liquid and really work into them. Then hand wash garment or put into washing machine to finish off.

Your last chance is to cover it with brown paper and use a very hot iron unless the material is heat sensitive
