First of all, restaurants that serve dog will list it as dog. It isn't considered taboo, it is just food. If the restaurant states in the menu that it serves dog, then it will be relatively safe to eat. The question is, is anyone else eating at the restaurant?

I have been to Chinese restaurants that serve dog, donkey, scorpion, and grasshoppers. Meat is meat in China. If you are talking about a U.S. restaurant, or a restaurant in the west it is probably just really cheap beef which is always stringy.

I have never knows of a Chinese Restraunt that cooks dogs. In Asia eating dogs is a delicatessin. Now do you REALLY think they are going to use their delicatessin to spend on their cheap old all you can eat buffett's? NO. I wish people would get over their racism and try the different food from around the world. We could learn a lot from the asians and how they cook. The only fat asians in the world are those who have become United States Citizens and adapted to our way of eating.
