How do I find out where underground lines are before I dig to start spring planting in my yard?

Contact the company of which lines you are concerned about and they will usually send somebody out to locate and mark their lines at no cost to you. (This applies to gas, water, phone, cable, etc...)

If u live in the United States call Diggers hot-line they will come out and locate the line for free. At least they do here. Look up number in phone book. they locate everything .. [gas,electric,and phone].

best way call the power company and water and cable company most time they will come out and mark the lines for free

hire a wire finder for the weekend and map the garden once. Keep this record handy.
