....why? And they won't even speak to you to tell you what they are angry about?

Yup...and if that's the game they want to play...all I have to say is...'grow up', and I won't give in to that immaturity.

(*laughter*) More than once.

The last time that sticks out was the secretary at work stopped talking to me. It was a small department, so it was pretty obvious. I tried to find out what was wrong, but no luck. So, I decided to heck with it. I hadn't done anything to her that I could think of, and decided it was her problem.

A couple of months later, she announced to me that because she was a "good Christian" she decided to forgive me. I told her I had no idea what she was upset about. It seems she had wanted to plan the departmental Christmas lunch, but I had just gone and done it without asking her. (I'd been the one doing it every year, and would have been thrilled if someone else had stepped up and done it!) Then she told me, if I was a "good friend" I would have known what was wrong.

That did it...I told her I wasn't psychic, and perhaps this need to have people be able to read her mind was what was holding her back in her personal life.

She stopped talking to me again. Go figure. Thing is, I didn't miss it.

If you honestly evaluate what you've done and said to the person, and can't come up with anything, you've done everything you can. You can also try saying, "I don't know why you're upset, but if I've done something, it makes it easier to not repeat the same mistake and apologize if you let me know what it was."

Frankly, someone who is that petty and childish probably needs to be off your list of people to worry about. The only reason they do this is to "punish" you. They don't actually want it resolved, they want you to suffer.

Suffering really isn't one of those things on my personal "to do" list.

Yeah. I'm in the same boat right now. I haven't talked to my friend for over two months now. I try calling, texting, IMs, e-mails...she doesn't reply. She's supposed to be my best friend. It's not supposed to be like this.

Despite that, I still hold on to some sliver of hope that someday, she'll call.

Yes I have. Forget about them...ignore them...go about your business...they're dying to tell you and that seems to work the fastest in getting to the bottom of the offense.

some times near people to u get mad without reason

When people do that, it's usually because they have been lying to you and need to break away. They think that ''playing mad'' will ease their guilt.

yeah, cause they expect you to know what you did wrong...usually happens with male/female relationship matters...wife/husband stereotypical kind of arguements...things like dishes, interuptting a football game, etc etc.

" You don't beat a dead horse ".
That's what trying to talk to them is like.
They form their opinion, and that's all they hear.
Things you didn't even say. You say that, and then
they stop talking. A waste of time, and emotion.
