Born and bred Manc and proud of it. Manchester United supporter since the day I was born, through thick and thin. Not one of the prawn sandwich brigade. It's in the blood.
And I respect true supporters of other teams.

Im a man utd fan, but think this one is a really hard one to answer -
They are probably the BIGGEST club in the world, due to fan base and fan club numbers around the world - but liverpool have won the league and champions league more, Barcelona have won their league more, Real Madrid dominated europe, as did Ajax at one time - Then look at the Italian clubs - Ac, Inter, Fiorentina, Parma, Lazio, Juve - all great teams -
Then consider the smaller glubs and what they have achieved - the likes of Gothenburg, Dianamo Kiev etc - all rich histroy in an under populated area
Oh, and Boca Juniors, River plate and the rest - - - -
Too difficult a question to decide i think and the debate would be huge if anyone ever wanted to answer it conclusively -
But just for the sake of being totally biased - Yes, Yes we are the best club in the world!!!

Man Utd are one of the top teams, but wouldn't say they were the best in the history of the world. Other teams have better statistics. I think good form changes from year to year and the title of who is the best changes likewise. They don't win cups every year. No team does. They all have up hills and downhills just like life.
Manchester United are one of the most successful clubs in the world and are second only to Liverpool in terms of trophies won by an English club. As quoted on link below:

two words: the treble
Liverpool has gone close before but they won leauge cup instead of FA cup. Unless Chelsea either 3 peat premier league (which Man u has done before) or won a treble. They cannot be mentioned in the same breath as Man U.
Even Arsenal play much more beautiful football than Chelsea at their peak.

They are GOOD, VERY VERY GOOD, . BUT I do not think that Manchester United think they are "The best football club in the history of the world". . As that leaves them open to have one hell of a fall, I would rather think "Manchester United are doing VERY VERY GOOD this SEASON and are right up there with the BEST"

Surely the history of clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona or even Accrington Stanley (one of the first ever clubs) has something on top of Man Utd. Although Man U do have something to shout about other teams have more to brag about.

They r undoughtfully the best team in da world. they have stars in every position and Sir Alex has strs even on da bench even if he starts with his best side .
This goes to show that they r indeed the best team worldwide.
aND I MEAN IT. They r not only the best football club but the best football team.(better than all countries aswell).
