dreams are relevent to important facts in your life, because your mind never rests. however dreams are not an exact representation or foreshaddowing of events to come, unless you clairvoyent and you have premonitions. usually though dreams are just everything important going on in you life all forced together in one scene.

My belief about dreams, and de ja vu are this: We write our life story. Our dreams and de ja vu are little snippets of what we remember writing. The reason we write our own life story is so that we can ensure that we learn everything we need to learn to progress to the next life. Sounds weird I know, but think about it...How many times do you meet somebody and think you already know them, how many times do you find yourself having a conversation only to know what is going to be said next?

well alot of people people think that your subconscious thoughts control your dreams so while you might not be thinking about something on the top of your heads it is still there being run over by your subconscious

Your brain never sleeps. When you're awake, you direct your thoughts--work, hobbies, whatever you are doing, but when that consciuos part turns off, your brain makes random connections.
