Yes, I do vote for the best answer.
If the answers are similar, I do pick the first answer, since it seems fair to do so.
If they are different, I read them all to decide.

properly, i'm truly new on Yahoo solutions easily, extra or less a week, and that i did not keep in mind that the vote casting become so quickly after a most suitable answer wasn't picked, so i become easily gonna opt for each and each of the most suitable solutions to my questions today, yet got here across out they were in vote casting. :( i'd in many cases opt for and continually will any further (even as my question has been submitted for 5 days, considering I enhance the expiry till a week), the most suitable answer, yet regrettably my questions are in vote casting, so yeah. i elect to make someone's' day. wish this helps...;)

No, I pick the Best Answer because I think it is the best regardless of whether or not it was the first or last answer. The reward is not for the fastest responder, but for the best answer.

I vote for the best answer, as I get 3 points for it.
I chose the answer which I think is best...no other criteria.

I usually pick the answer that is the most informative, best researched or offered the best information source.
Even if they have an avatar that looks like Beevis and Butthead.

that is simply not true, I am at least 12 hours behind american time and any question I answer has been out there for at least 10 hours, and I get plenty of best answers to prove my point.
