Even though Muslims state at every opportunity that Islam is a peaceful religion, how come that invariably ALL the terrorists who inflict pain and create hatred in this world of ours are muslims? No use denying that fact. There are non-muslim terrorists but they fight for political determination and their action -never condoned- is not based on religious sentiments. Political terrorists act against suppression of liberty unlike Islamic terrorists who act on the basis of inhuman dislike. Do they receive ispiration from their book of religion?

Terrorism based on political determination is no better or worse than that based on religion sentiment.
Islamic terrorists are terrorists first and foremost.
They only resemble true Muslims in appearance, not actions.
No doubt they receive inspiration from their own interpretations of the Qumran.
You need to put the damage they cause, while horrific, in perspective. The damage and death they cause is minor when compared to a couple of minutes of carpet bombing during any air raid. Think WW2 Dresden and Tokyo incendiary attacks and Baghdad recently.

You conveniently forget the provisional IRA who were/are all Roman Catholics and the Ulster Loyalists who were/are all Protestants. What is the action of bin Laden but political? What are the Shi'ites doing in Iraq? They are trying to take over the country from the minority Sunnis who used to run it. Americans are getting in the way. It's sort of like a Chinese army in North America during the Civil War trying to keep peace between Jeff Davis and Abe Lincoln.

Most Muslims are peace loving people. A small minority have twisted part of their religion and have become extremist. Yes they probably do take inspiration from their holy book - they just interpret some of the writings in a different way.

All I know is that mixing Religion and Politics is always going to mess up any country or people .It can not be overstated enough that Religion and Politics must be separated but most Muslims don't seem to get it.

how come 2 crusades where thousands of Muslims were slaughtered in the name of Christ all Christan's consider themselves people of peace. but yet committed acts of genocide in crusades and world wars. Christians have killed more people than any Muslim has. 6 million Jews murdered pay testament to that fact. BTW I'm a devout catholic and a pacifist.
