Gadss what a loaded question -- -- -- assuming you want to expand your circle of gay people check tio see if there is a Gay/Lesbian Center in your communitty. Most every major College & University has Gay Clubs/Organizations, most any sizaable city has a Gay Newspaper with a social calender. But here is advice from an old fart, just be yourself and find friends whereever you are.

anywhere. if you're looking for gay friends, might not find a whole lot at schools, but perhaps at gay&lesbian centers? Or gay parades? Activities that would bring more homosexuals together in one area. Because at school, it's kind of hard for most to "come out"-- so finding a gay friend might take some time.
But if you're looking for straight friends-- anywhere?

if you search for them, there are activities you could join for gay people or clubs, maybe join a gay gym etc. or go to gay pride festivals.

it depends on ( where do you live ) , you can find friends at school and ..... here Y/A , finding friends is an easy thing but dealing with them is the issue , lol
