We aren't using the UK and Ireland site. Just as you weren't using the US site when you asked your question which I'm answering on the US site.
All questions seem to be distributed throughout all of Yahoo!'s English language sites.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on another Y!A site, say Singapore for example, search for your own question, click on the result and you'll see your UK/Ireland question on the Singapore site! (Doesn't seem to work with India, though.)
Also note that if you're logged onto the UK/Ireland site, you'll be logged on the Singapore site as well.

they have a problem with the spelling color, colour, to have a bang in the elivator means a shock, ***** cat means muff,
muffin is a cake, maybe a fish cake, thats why they come to the uk site . ***** the female dog is the ultimate usa rude word, they are learning new words that are not in there dictionary or are swear words in theirs, don't forget there humour is different to ours,
and wonder at the answeres we as good humoured brits give
mostly in good fun, after all they havn't got too much to be happy about have they,

Changing my answer to:
Because under related links box there is a box labeled "Show" that is a drop down box that lists what questions you want to see. In the US it is defaults to "All English questions"(other is "USA only questions"), while in the UK defaults to "UK and Ireland questions only"(other is "All English questions").

I'm a Yank who uses this site as a way to increase my knowledge of the UK, its people and customs so that I can enjoy my next visit even more than my first.
Amazing place, the UK. Can't wait to return.

Don't get too uptight about it. Surveys have shown that Americans are the most stupid people in the world.
Have a look at this: http://www.scott-o-rama.com/2007/01/30/why-people-believe-americans-are-stupid/
Type into the search engine "Why are Americans so stupid" - you'll be surprised.
