go to Control Panel, then Add/Remove programs and hit uninstall of the Comcast software that youve installed...then take their old modem target practicing~

download free ccleaner, after download check all items down to advanced, run check for problems erase all than run clean. Also run it once a week to keep your computer running Good and fast and keep it updated. this is a safe program, be carefull of the others suggested
