I will create a rebranded retail shop for our project- that is I want to create this shop that creates a sense of freedom, leisure, casual and sense of relaxation yet adventurous.... it's hard though since my idea now is too broad... help! I want the shop to reflect an image of the Philippines- a Filipino character yet modern.

yeah very much associated with the philippines but try to look for words that are no longer associated clearly with other countries. say for example, the word tropical.normally the country famous for being tropical is hawaii not philippines.so people would think of hawaii right away rather than the philippines. try searching for words that people are familiar with but closely realted to our country.

Other words that you can use would be warm, hospitable, happy, jolly, lavish...
However, your words are the common themes in most Island Souvenir shops. The words I gave are also common. I suggest that you narrow your focus to your market. Will you go for tourists or local? What age bracket? What lifestyle are they living? Afterwards, choose the adjectives to describe the market you aim. Make sure that the market you choose is not too narrow or not too complex. Check the current market population.
