Singapore is indeed a fine city. Its safe, clean and green. There's no dount the government has done a great job in certain areas.Singapore is a small country by itself. Its good to be ambitious but do you think its attracting too many foreigners who wanted to call Singapore their home. Are those locals being left out in the cold?.Lots of the rich foreigners came to buy houses, condos and were welcome with open arms. Are we especially the low income locals being neglected in a way?

Well, I guess that the locals have to accept the fact that since Singapore is quite a small country with little natural resources, one has to accept that it needs foreign manpower to succeed in economic terms plus the fact that most Singaporeans are now going to China to further their careers, Singapore needs more manpower to fuel its employment rate.

Those rich foreigners you are talking about are just phases as Singapore's market is currently booming after 10 years of being in a construction slum. Just as in any other country, you will find foreigners buying up properties for investment purposes.

Take heart that not all foreigners are bad... after all most of the local Singaporeans' ancestors were once foreigners themselves.

:)

Everybody I talk to these days feel that foreigners are taking over their country. Even here in America the Mexican population has exploded. Now when you make a phone call you have to press "1" to here a computer talk to you in English.
