Wear whatever you are comfortable with. If you like tampons, wear a tampon. If you like pads, wear a pad. Your flow shouldn't change because of jumping. If anything, the exercise will reduce your cramps if you get them. Good luck at the tournament!

I played volleyball so I did a lot of jumping. The worse part was we wore spandex. Yea, you can only imagine how that was. Well, I would wear two pairs of spandex. (They were really thin, so if I layered them just right you couldnt tell.) I wore tampons b/c it was more comfortable for me. I don't like pads anyways not to mention they move all around when youre playing sports. I would put one in right before I went on on the court for warm ups. Even if I hadn't started but I knew I could at any moment I still put one it. To tell you the truth I don't know if thats all that good for you, but it always worked for me and I never had any problems with it. I would run to the bathroom and change it after each game so that I wouldnt leak in case it got heavy. I also played other sports so during those times I wore spandex under my shorts. It helped prevent getting really bad strawberries from sliding too!

Sometimes, activity can make you flow more. Just wear whatever you are comfortable with, and change often to prevent leaks. Tampons are usually better (overall, but especially, from my experience, when exercising).

If I were you I would wear both with tight underpants. I was bleeding heavy and a tampon fell out during a game once!
