Personally, I don't care. Globally? That's another issue. The world suffers from human overpopulation and quite frankly, I don't think life is the precious gift parents say it is. (edit: Infact, that arguement that life is a precious gift serves two survival purposes. One, to get through each day without suffering. If you think life is a precious gift, it's easier to stay alive. Two, it justifies the horrors of human reproduction. If you think life is a precious gift, even when your kid is facing a living hell, you don't feel guilty for breeding) Not that I want to end my life or that I'm particularily miserable or depressed. Most days, I'm very happy, but that happiness too serves it's survival purpose. I'm just sure most people on this planet are better off not being born. Not to mention how beautiful this planet would be if us humans didn't destroy it. Sure, we wouldn't be around to enjoy it, but it's sort of a trick of the ego for us to think that 'we' are so great that the world can't be without us.

Yes if:
A) You want someone to give you unconditional love while going potty all over your brand new pants.
B) You want someone to take care of you when you're old and can't wipe your own behind anymore.
No if:
A) You are selfish
B) You have limited mental ability
Basically, how could you not want a little pooping and screaming machine that you have to take care of for at least 18 yrs and he/she is going to hardly notice your existence.

I would NOT bring children into this world for at least a few years. You shoudl wait and see how the people deal with the never ending doom and gloom our government sells. Things are probably going to get really nasty, real soon.
