You can surf the internet but be aware there are no parent or net nannies so he'll be able to surf any and I mean any website. Keep the ps3 in the room you are in the most when he is playing or online.

The Ps3 60 gig can surf the net wirelessly (if you have a wireless router or live in a hotspot) and it can through a network ethernet cable which means routed through your computer while your computer is on the internet.

The ps3 allows for a keyboard and mouse to be used.

The 20 gig can only go on the internet with a ethernet cable routed through your computer or internet router box.

you will no longer be able to today hyperlink the PS3 to a working laptop or computing gadget by using USB, because of the fact it ought to tend to examine USB instruments, even exterior HDDs as mass storage instruments. yet, in case you desire to pass records out of your computing gadget to you PS3, you may shop them onto a USB flash rigidity and pass them that way... it rather is how I did it. it rather is incredibly straight forward and speedy.
