them not to go to their first class on a certain day and meet me at the flagpole instead, where I would try to convince them to boycott school, or would there be no laws broken there? thanks

This is not a good idea. Most states now have truancy laws requiring students to be in school. By encouraging them to skip school you are encouraging them to violate these laws. By using the mail to do this you are also committing mail fraud. You could encourage them to meet you after school at a private location but encouraging kids to boycott school could still constitute contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Most likely you wouldn't ever be charged but don't take the chance. You can't boycott school just deal with it for a few more years. Everyone else had to do the same thing when they were young.

Without a very good reason for your protest you would probably get suspended or expelled, law or no law. If anyone at all caused trouble you might get charged with enciting a riot since you started it all.

You will get in trouble with the law if it is a public school. You will be simply expelled if it is a private school.

yes, you will get in trouble for disrupting the learning of others, and conspiring to break some stupid rule. but if you have them meet you outside of school they cant do anything about it. if you do this could you email me at gr8lyendowed@yahoo.com? i am interested in knowing what happens, it is a good idea, maybe a trend?

my memory of middle school is that the justice system is strict and lacking nuance--if it gets the vice principal cheesed off, you're probably in trouble.
