Once you bring back the hamsters from the pet store, they will be quite terrified of the new surroundings. You can see how unsettled and panic they are in their new home. The first thing you need to do is to establish a bond between you and your new hamsters. This type of bond is to generate its trust in you so that they will feel protected and safe. Remember not to play with the hamsters at once because they will bite you and do not FORCE them out of the carrying box. Place the box on the floor of the cage and let them come out freely. Leave the cage in the dark for few hours to let them settle down.
Suggested day-to-day Hamster Taming procedure:-
Day 1 - Observe your hamsters but do not disturb them.
Day 2 - Introduce yourself by putting your hand in the cage and wait for a few minutes. Do not move your hand. Let them smell your hand to make them familiar with your scent. Repeat this process for few times.
Day 3 - Try to hand feed your hamsters and while doing it, talk to them softly.
Day 4 - 5 - You can try picking up your hamster and let it run from one hand to the other outside of its cage. As it runs, curl your fingers around its body so as to get them used to being held.
Day 6 - 14 - You can start introduce your new hamsters to your family and friends.
Day 15 onwards - Handle and play with your hamsters constantly and regularly as to tame them thus will form a wonderful bond between you and the hamsters.

Instructions
STEP 1: Buy a hamster between the ages of four and seven weeks. They are easier to train when you get them young. Hamsters can live to be three to four years old. STEP 2: Hold, cuddle, talk to and pet your young hamster just as soon as you bring her home. If she seems frightened or shy, let her get adjusted to her cage and new environment for a few days. STEP 3: Lay food next to your hand. Your hamster will walk up to the food and eat beside your hand. STEP 4: Put food in the palm of your hand. Your hamster will sit in your hand to eat the food. STEP 5: Stroke her back while she is eating. STEP 6: Cup your other hand over the hamster while she is eating. STEP 7: Carry her around in your cupped hands for a few minutes. STEP 8: Remove your other hand and set your hamster-filled palm back down. Let the hamster look around to see that it is safe. STEP 9: Hide peanuts in your shirt collar. Encourage your hamster to run up and down your arms and across your shoulders, searching for peanuts. STEP 10: Lie on the floor with your hamster. Hide bits of apple underneath your back. STEP 11: Enjoy your hamster running across, under and over you, sniffing for the apple. Tips & Warnings
Be gentle with the hamster. Don't drop her or let her fall off of high furniture, tables or stairs.
Speak softly to her. Move slowly around her.
Some hamsters are more nervous than others and may take a little longer to adjust to being handled. Be patient and your hamster should become quite tame.
Hamsters usually only bite when they are frightened. But never forget that they have very sharp front teeth. Being bitten by any animal can be dangerous.
Before you handle your hamster, always be sure to wash your hands. Hamsters have poor eyesight, and if your hands smell even the tiniest bit like food, the hamster might accidentally bite you.
Hamsters are susceptible to human cold viruses and must be kept warm at all times.
Be sure to keep your hamster far away from any cats

My hamster was the same way, she is a panda bear. I started by giving her sliced carrots. They will recognize you as the giver of food. Make sure you are the primary provider. Just like any animal, they have to know their name through repetition. First give 1 or 2 slivers. Then make the hamster follow the carrot then give it to her/him. Mine took about a month before I could hold her in my hand. If you wish to hold her before the month, get some leather gloves, place some slivers into the palm, she WILL go and get them. Good luck to you!

Let her get to know your smell! And talk gently to her so she learns your voice! At first it will be better if you pick her up with a scoop or cup. This way she wont sense any fear. When she is in the cup stroke her and let her sniff you. Its best not to hold her for a few days because she could be quite bouncy! When you feel ready you can pick her up. Watch though she might jump so hold her firmly not to tight you could stop her breathing. Make sure an adult is with you or hold her over a box so if she jumps she will land in the box. Try giving her treats not to many about 3 daily don't want her getting fat! Good luck with your hammie xx

put it in the palm of your hand and pull your hand back quickly so it rolls up spinning into the air, that little punk will soon respect and fear you after several good spins and will do anything you want
