Absolutely! All of these people who talk about inter-species stuff really scare me. C'mon, gay people aren't trying to get the right to marry their goldfish, only the person they love. What is so wrong with that? I really, honestly can't understand why people in this day and age still have to separate people out based on differences. Even though I'm a straight married woman this is still a huge issue for me. I just believe it is wrong and unconstitutional for the government to dictate who should be able to have their love recognized. It just makes no sense to me.

Yeah providing the person is over 18, consenting and obviously human (as oppose to animal). In all seriousness you are making the exact point I have been trying to make all my life. Sexuality is something we all have, therefore whether I choose to be with someone of the same or opposite sex makes absolutely no difference to anyone else. I might think what is the woman doing with that guy? I am no more likely to form a judgement of them then if it is two guys or two girls. People are suited to each other (and not suited) for all sorts of reasons and the sooner people can stop getting so hung up on sexuality and concentrate on issues that have real controversy then the better this world is going to be!

Yes. When and if you get married, gay or not, you will understand love when you take vows that you are supposed to live by. Wait to see if you can accept the sickness and in health part. Taking care of who you love when they are sick will be your ultimate test. Other tests of love are material things. When you can care less about who owns what when you are ready to split then you will know that was not what your love was about. When you don't let children be something you fight over but share when you split you will know what love is. When you stay together through the good and bad you will know love. When you have nothing and have to start over together and stick together then you will know love. Some people share their bed with their pets.

No. Two family members could love each other and that would be wrong. A man could love a child and that would be wrong. There are some situations where sharing your bed is not appropriate.

Sex isn't equivalent to LOVE. You can love someone and not be sexually involved with them...

Most often when sex is involved, there isn't much love but a desire for personal gradification and that is true for homosexuals and hetrosexuals alike.

Sex is like money in that respect. People often stay together for the sex or for the money but not necessarily love as they may claim. There is a matter of convenience. That person gives you something you want...sex, money, a place to live, a feeling of power. Love, while claimed by many, is the least motivating factor for marriage or a relationship.

Yes.
In the current society, homosexual love is still a tedious thing. No one would want themselves to be gay/lesbian. But when love comes around, there's no way to avoid it, and if you force yourself to go against your heart, you would only be sorry to yourself.
Love is not love if you could choose
Love is not love if it could be given up.
But in the present society, maybe we would never love anyone other than ourselves.

I agree with you. Love is unconditional. At least in my mind. I am straight, but have gay friends who love each other very much so.

I agree love counts.
I do not agree that it is regardless of who you share your bed with.
I love the sinner (because we are all sinners)
I hate the sin (because God hates sin)
