I am watching the news and again i see a case of stupidity, the cash strapped NHS are now trying to invest millions for Muslims needs, first it was only serving Halal meat in some schools, what will be next?

They are trying to bring in special clothes for Muslim women, why should they, this country has gone crazy, in some towns they banned Christmas lights at Christmas for fear it may upset some people, in a Christian country!

Difi i am not a racist, people over use that word when they dont like what they hear, the NHS is cash strapped, there are better things to spend it on like doctors and nurses not gowns

So this is England and we should all believe in the local culture and respect it.In fact any culture should be equally respected.

I think UK trouble is that the Govt has been toooooooo relaxed for overseas people.
There are more Temples/Mosque as compared to Churches.

The NHS is probably trying to go out of its way to prove that it isn't prejudiced against Muslims, given the current climate. Not a bad idea, but if it's already "cash strapped," not the most prudent either. I'm not that familiar with the NHS, as I'm in the US, but I have to think the quality of leadership (or lack thereof) comes from the top down. And look at who the UK currently is run by. Well, we have Bush...he's much worse!

Anyway, as for earmuffs' recent question, you actually thought he had a point when he said it was better when blacks were shackled? And you're NOT racist?

I have observed the country off and on since the 1960s. What I notice is this: the country went into a catastropic slide in the 1980s, became staid and stuck in the 1990s, and then entered a period of debauchery and greed in the 2000s. The result has been the creation of a country and population so foul, so nearly sub-human in its behaviour (constant drunkenness, foul language, rude behaviour, no respect for others), that the UK is the worst country in the west. Sad.

It's a disgrace, everyone should be treated the same, most people bring in thier own foods, I'm sure Muslims would do the same, hospital food is disgusting anyway.
