YES - Racism is treating someone differently or unfairly simply because they belong to a different race or culture.
People can also experience prejudice because of their religion or nationality.
Racism takes many different forms. These can include:
Personal attacks of any kind, including violence
Written or verbal threats or insults
Damage to property, including graffiti
Why are people racist?
Unfortunately racism can exist in all races and cultures. Racists feel threatened by anyone who is from a different race or culture.
We are not born racist. Our views and beliefs develop as we grow up. If a child or young person grows up within a racist family, or has friends who are racist, they may believe that racism is normal and acceptable.
Prejudice of any kind is often based on ignorance and fear of anything unfamiliar.

Racist by definition is the belief that someones genes defines them and that you are some how more superior then them because of it. If your friends feel that way then they are racist, if they are joking around and saying insensitive things then they are just void of understanding and most likely Godless. Here are the options, make fun of them back, or tell them to watch what they say around you and explain why, or get new friends, or tell them to shut the **** up or your going to have to go outside and box. I know many bigoted people, who are good people, mainly they don't have faith in God basically. Does'nt make your friends bad, just lazy minded.

that's an prolonged drawn out question. i'm basically going to respond to the priority. confident. a minimum of on the racist section. Liberals have self assurance that minorities are no longer able to make interior the worldwide without their help. that's what affirmative action is all approximately. "you're no longer good adequate. So we are going to offer you a leg up." they could have good intentions, however the basis is organic racism, the thought that somebody is inferior based basically on their race.

Hey, on having your questions removed, I noticed that too when I ask questions on ethnic opinions! Yes, on your first question. I am Caucasian, have black nieces & nephews,& adopted Korean children. Family members still slip out rude ethnic remarks. I don't think prejudice will ever truly go away.

Yes, my teacher's uncle hates Vietnamese (because of the Viet Cong) people but he married one. He just sees her as the exception.
