So go onto the rugby forum we dont really care if you dont like the way we name our sports.A nfl football team stripped of pads would only last about 1 week before the whole team would be bed ridden,if you put those monsters against a rugby team they would kill them with or without pads, look at the size of them on the rosters.

'WHAT YOU CALL FOOTBALL'? Do you mean what people in the USA call it, or people who like the sport call it? Let me say that I live in England, and so get 'soccer' and rugby almost literally FORCED on me, but try follow the football season. Let me also say that before protection was used, there were actual deaths while playing (20 in one season). The protection ensures that there are no small injuries that would have stopped the person from playing had there been no protection, which also means everyone who hasn't seen the sport just claims it is 'rugby for sissys'. My advice? Go to the rugby forum.

All that protection? If you mean the padding you try letting a 300 lb man run at you full speed and knock you over. That padding is to protect the players from serious injuries. They didn't orginally wear it. They started because they had to. The league started it because people were complaining about the injuries. As to some of the other protection by the rules I don't know about that either. I think it is out of hand. As to the name I am getting so sick of this stupid complaint. Just as much as I am getting sick of you anti-American Football people coming to OUR SPECIFIC category to whine. Get a life.

Using your reasoning, then American football should be flooded with former English Rugby players with multimillion dollar contracts. I'm sure Rugby doesn't pay that well. The reason that it is not: American Football is more difficult.

what football game did you JUST WATCH? football season ended with the superbowl in february, so there is no pro, college, high school, or even arena football going on right now, so please stop lieing, loser. i'd love to see a rugby team step out on the field with a bigger, stronger, faster, more hard hitting football team, with or without pads. if they survived, they would leave the field on stretchers
