Go to your control panel and click on display. Go to the settings tab and select 1024 by 768 pixels. Click apply and then ok. Everything should be normal then.

Make sure it's un-maximised (double-click on window Title Bar), if it is you need to adjust your monitor as said above.

1. Click and drag on a corner of the window to re-size it smaller. 2. Then click and drag on the Title Bar to position it as you want.

Repeat 1 & 2 until you're happy.

GO TO START, CONTROL PANEL, OPEN DISPLAY ICON THEN TOP RIGHT CLICK SETTINGS TAB. RESOLUTION SHOULD BE 16 OR 32BIT AND 800X600 OR MORE, APPLY AND OK THE SETTINGS.

IF THOSE SETTINGS ARE AVAILABLE YOU'LL NEED TO DOWNLOAD VIDEO CARD DRIVERS FROM THE WEB. GOOD LUCK.
