Yes, I got two line in home preg test but the other line is lighter than the other one, Is it possible that I am not pregnant or the test just detected something which made 2 lines, since I just had miscarriage? But after 3 weeks of bleeding (miscarriage) my husband and I had sex. When should I expect my next period? Should I have my period by this time? I need some clear and serious answers guys!

Could there be any possibility that my period is delayed because I had bleeding for almost 3 weeks when I had miscarriage?
I need some help in here!

After having a miscarriage 2 yrs ago, I fell pregnant again right away...I didn't have a D&C and I did bleed for around 10 days...after this stopped I waited for my next period which I was told by the doc It could be late or irrigular for the next few months...but the next period didnt arrive...I was pregnant...Your pregnancy test is probably right...I would sugguest waiting 3 or 4 days and redoing it...or just bite the bullet and go back to the doc and have a blood test...If you are pregnant...and providing the embryo is all ok...there should be no reason you shouldnt carry this baby full term...having a miscarriage and not having a period inbetween conceiving again will not cause you or your baby any harm...be prepaired for a bit of an emotional rollercoaster though...that is perfectly normal following a miscarriage...if you want to talk...just holler...
Good luck

I'm not a medical expert but did have a miscarriage 5 years ago I then had to go in for an exploritory a couple of weeks later and when the nurse drew blood for my pre surgery tests she told me I couldn't have the surgery because my test was showing I was currently pregnant.
Your hormone level goes up more and more as the fetus grows inside you, it takes time to go back down according to my obs, thus the reason I had the false positive test.
The pregnancy test (both urine and blood) tests for the hCG hormone. The hCG hormone can be present in your body under the following circumstances:
1)Normal intrauterine pregnancy
2) Miscarriage (early pregnancy loss, spontaneous abortion)
3)And for several WEEKS after a pregnancy or miscarriage.
Occasionally one of a set of twins can miscarry with the remaining twin developing normally.
Your hCG levels are probably still elevated.
I'd talk to your Doc if it worries you

I'd say you were pregnant again. I doubt that a pg test would show up possitive after 6.5 wks. Or like the poster above said, perhaps you had twins and misscarried one of them. Go to the doc and ask for an ultrasound. Periods can be weird after having a misscarrage too but usually are back on schedule about 2mths. Did your doc give you a "YES, you are misscarrying."? Or did you just assume since you were bleeding ? If your doc never told you that you were, its common to bleed some when prego, esspecially in the first few months. I'd say if you had unprotected sex with your hubby 3wks after misscarring then yes....Your probably prego again. Wish you all the luck in the world!!!

When i miscarried at 5 weeks i had my period the very next month like clockwork. It wasn't delayed.
Q: How soon after a miscarriage will an HPT be reliable?
A: It varies. Sometimes it takes awhile for hCG levels to go back to zero, so it is possible to get a positive HPT from a miscarriage for a month or more after a loss. If hCG levels were followed back to zero, then a positive HPT should indicate a new pregnancy.

It is possible that you are pregnant again or that you were carrying twins and miscarried one. The reason for one line being lighter than the other is that your hormone levels are not very high. Remember one line is to show that the test is working properly and the other is to show if you are pregnant or not! But I would get your doctor to do a test to make sure!
