My Mondeo tailgate is opening by its self, i can drive off and after a few minutes it will open, or it will open when i park the car

have you got one of those electric boot releases on the floor by the drivers side? that might be sticking..or it sounds like its not shutting propley, make sure rubber seal hasn'tcome off &isnt in the way, or you'll need to adjust the alignment on the catch,thats at the bottom underneath the tailgate which is easy just 2 screws (maybe alenkey) loosen the screws close tailgate to make sure it closes & stays closed then tighten screws back up. HI-, Iff its a pull catch inside get a freind to operate the catch when you open the tail-gate & see if it works ok or it sticks a little, iff its sticking gust ajust the catch & it should be ok, D.F;
