can hamster take bath?like we shower our pet??????

I use to run water in the bath tub for ours and let them swim around...they are good swimmers...but don't walk off and leave the little fellow ....when it looks like he might be getting tired..get him out and wrap him up real good in a towel until he is dry..don't let him get cold....

No. Hamsters have a very sensitive respiratory system.


Offer your hamster a bit of chinchilla bathing sand (NOT dust -- This can be very bad for them).

yes they do take showers. but DONT put him in the bath tub. its to big. put him in those things were they shower babies. their smaller and your little furry friend will be okay. they seem to have a very strong liking for strawberry shampoo! just dont get it in their eyes. and they enjoy having there legs waxed once in a while...
