Yes, I believe everything happens in its own time. And for a certain purpose. I too don't attend Mass, but consider myself a devote Catholic/Christian. God is all around you, not in a building with rows of pews. When I work in my flower gardens & see the beauty God has made, that's my church.

Yeah I believe in Karma - I try to follow a Christian life (I don't consider myself as religious, as I only go to church twice a year, which I don't consider commitment) and I prefer to think my life is built around my personal actions and not how heaven or God works. It feels almost like you mould your own life, and that makes me feel more comfortable with my life.
Karma's worked on me frequently though - this one weekend, I was friendly to someone I wouldn't normally talk to and ended up winning £58 on the lottery (it's not a lot but a) it's better than nothing, for a £1 ticket and b) that's not bad for a 17 year old who doesn't get much income in the first place) Even random acts of kindness can be rewarded for

I don't see Karma being a whole lot different than confession in a Catholic church. "If you don't do what we define as good you'll be punished, but there is a loop hole."
Read up on Ethics of Religion, I think you will enjoy it, it will help you to deal with your questions.
The word religion means "to search for the source" but ORGANIZED religion says, no need to search, we have all the answers you need. If God wishes to speak I don't think He, She or It needs a representitive. Global Warming speaks volumes more of God's will than any holy man I have ever heard.
I can still be spiritual without being religious. I think the next spiritual movement that will become a religion is Deep Ecological Egalitarianism or Post Modern Gaianism if you prefer. At least I hope it becomes a movement, instead of becoming some shallow, self-serving, organized religion.

First, let me tell you that I respect my Ortodox Church as good, honest and trustworthy. If so, then why I should believe in something else? Because the level of development of today's world gives us need to find some modern religion that will help us to manage our problems.
To be clear, mother's love is the best, so the Ortodox Church is the best, although old.
I love my mother but I need fun, money and better life. I will love my mom always but I do believe that karma exist.
There is connection between things and people. I believe that my mother is personification of Sv. Naum and church in Ohrid, Macedonia.
From the old religion, the new one is made. But I doubt that any other religion can be compared to love of my mother.
the love for myself and my health is also important. Therefore I have translated the Lotus Sutra.
it is not doubt that karma exist. But the solution is to find teaching that erases the recompense of not good deeds.

I don't go to church, but I do not have any animosity toward the church. It sounds like you question the motives of the men who drafted the manuscripts of the Bible, but have you ever questioned the motives of the men who are working so hard to discredit the Bible. Do they want you to lose faith in the church; because, they want you to pursue a higher truth, or because, they want you to turn away from the foundation of your morality. If you turn from an established foundation of morality (the Bible), you may turn to a new foundation, one written by new men. Who lives today, that you would trade their wisdom for the wisdom of Solomon? I do believe in karma, But that does not mean I am going to turn my back on other truths; the idea of karma reinforces the truths written in the Bible.

I don't believe in Karma, per se but I do believe that usually people get what they work toward. If you want money, you work, plan, organize, negotiate and suddenly, magically and mysteriously, the invisable friends give you money!!!
If you want good health, you drink plenty of water, eat healthy vegetables, exercise, sleep enough and get sunshine and friendships. Magically, the "God's of Good Fortune" visit you and you have good health.
It isn't magical Karma but the results of something you are doing that cause a particular outcome. The word "Karma" sounds too mystical and I don't like it. I prefer the word "results".
What we think and feel colors what we say and do...pure and simple. No mystery to it at all. We cause our own destiny by how we behave.

I do believe in Karma. I think what goes around, comes around so I try and live a fairly good life, not hurting anyone etc. I have been hurt both emotionally, physically and mentally in this life and hope that one day those that inflicted it will learn their lessons too.
But I also believe we are here to learn and suffering is just a part of the learning process in all your lives until you have progressed to move up and not return to Earth.

I always do good and i help people, i'm honest and have my own code, that's how i serve God, but i suffer with bad health for no reason and i just hope some of the good i did over the years will return one day and help me feel better. But yes to answer your question i do believe in Karma, doing harm and releasing negative bad energy may one day return to harm you with general bad luck etc and yes your views are good.

YES I DO! There is balance in the universe. What goes around comes around and all that..This might have a relationship with all the new research between quantuum physics and realizing one's wishes... read the bible as a work open to interpretation..The spirit not the letter of the "Law"

Yes, I agree, my husband also a Catholic is also fed up with the Catholic church (Malta), it is a very corrupt here because of politics and they try to keep secrets about disgraced priests and cover up for them, which is wrong, you don't need to go to church to believe, if you believe in god he will hear you, god is supossed to be everywhere.
