Obviously there is..because people have done it. There are websites that will tell you..
I also have seen people just take it out of the box and say they did it (because it comes in perfect order) , I also have seen people remove the stickers and do it that way..as well as remove the pieces of the cube and stick them back together...

Yes it can be solved. At my daughter's high school graduation, the validictorian solved it while deliverying his speech. :-)
