Steps of Construction for the piechart diagram bcoz in the hindu paper(downtown) it came that there was steps of construction needed for the piechart.In our school no steps of construction was taught for piechart.

Consider the example where £600 has to be shared out as follows:-
Jim £300
Tom £200
Jean £100
Total £600
Angles are worked out:-
Jim: 300/600 x360° = 180°
Tom: 200/600 x 360° = 120°
Jean ;100/360 x 360° = 60°
Draw a circle and mark off these angles to obtain 3 sectors.
Label the sectors as Jim,Tom, Jean.
Above pie chart have title eg £600 is Amount Shared

multiply the ratio that each value bears to the total value separately with 360
draw a circle and show the different sectors with the calculated angles as the corresponding central angles

Pie charts are used to show the percentages of the various categories to the grand total.
STEP1
Category total
---------------------- x 360 = degrees for Category
Grand Total
Calculate degrees using this formula for all the categories.

DRAW A CIRCLE
STEP 3
DRAW ONE STRAIGHT LINE FROM ORIGIN TO THE BORDER OF THE CIRCLE
STEP 4
DRAW LINES USING THE DEGREES BASED ON PREVIOUS LINE

COLOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES DIFFERENTLY

LIST THE CATEGORY AND THE COLOR USED FOR IT.

see even im in 10.. from india...... yes even we werent taught steps of cons.. 4 that.. but yes while drawing it,, its imp 2 show the calculations
