Neither. I would make sure everyone was out of the house; safe & sound. Money can always be earned back once again. But once a life is taken; its gone forever.
Photographs are nothing but inprints of memories. The real memories are in your head & in your heart. As long as you choose to want to remember, no one can take that away from you.
Life is too short. You never know what tomorrow brings. Live for today, make a difference & never wipe that smile off your face. Happiness is the key :)

My pictures.
I always say that if my house were to burn down, the FIRST thing I'd grab would be my pictures.
Added:
I can't believe I'm seeing people saying that they'd grab their money first...saying that pictures can be replaced! That's bullsh it! Pictures can NOT be replaced! "You can always take more pictures..." What about ones of you when you were little? Or pictures of your parents/grandparents when they were younger? Pictures are ALWAYS from the past, and they cannot be re-taken!
Just shows how greedy some people are!!!
(and the question asks, MONEY or PICTURES. duh, of course you'd grab your family and pets...that'd be the very first thing I'd grab.)

Forget the family pictures, I'd grab my family! Money can be replaced by making more of it!

Don't have family (I wrote off the lying, stealing druggies)...
don't have money (it's called a BANK)...
so I'd grab my computers, my synthesizer, my guitars and some reference books and let the rest burn...
that's what insurance is for...

Photos, of course. Photos are paper with images of people who are important to me printed on it. Money is paper with images of dead guys I've never met printed on it. Furthermore, the value of the photos is more than the value of the money. Photos are tied to memories and important parts of one's life. Money is just green paper that you give away to get other stuff in return. It has no special meaning and is only valuable for its ability to get you material stuff.
