Most freeways have a minimum speed limit. Usually 40mph. I don't think your scooter will go that fast. But even if it could, here are some reasons not to -
--Automobiles won't respect you. Cut you off trying to get around you cause your going to slow (yelling to themselves under their breath, "get the h**l off the road and out of my way A-hol, I'm late for an appointment")
--The wheel diameters on that scooter are to small and the wheels will get sucked into the cracks in the road.
--The suspension is inadequate at speeds and will throw you all over the place when hitting bumps.
--Riding at top speed, you won't have any power in reserve to accelerate and swerve out of trouble.
--A quick jaunt from exit to exit might be OK.

Check with your country's road authority, as it has to be over a minimum power capacity - i.e.: so as not to become a potential traffic hazard. I think with the Vespa, if it's a 125cc or over you can take it on the freeway.

Probably not. Motorscooters are a class unto themselves. Great transportion for around town and trips to the supermarket, but they are not fast enough to keep up with interstate highway traffic. Bad idea. Very bad idea.
Here in CT, the highway entrance ramps have signs that list prohibited vehicles, and motorscooters are on the list.

I wouldn't try it. They are too weak for a freeway. Even a 200cc road bike is too slow.
