well i have the exact same problem in fact one of my favorite words is cheese so... anyway... the way i got over my craving is 1. u have to just have the will. 2. instead of buying all the fat stuff get some fruits and vegetables. fill ur house with them. whenever u want chocolate or cheese munch on some fruit instead. also if u put out jars of chocolate just put fruit in them. really the only way is to just have the mental strength.

Try walking a lot or some form of other exercise that's
fun to do and see if you start losing weight. You could
also try lower fat versions of cheese and chocolate, etc.
Good Luck!

If there is no way you can give up the chocolate and cheese, I suggest you start working out for an hour each day. By working out I mean cardio exercise.

Just so you know, you might want to go to your doctor and get a blood test called a lipid profile done. I am willing to bet that your cholesterol and triglycerides are high, both of which are key factors in heart disease. Maybe once you see that these numbers are high, and know what it is attributed to, you will cut down on the cholesterol ridden food.

Only 2 ways to lose weight- exercise and nutrition. If you are addicted to choc. and cheese dont deprive yourself but up the exercise and start eating a lot better the time that you are not indulging in your weaknesses. And when you do- dont feel guilty or you will just eat huge amounts- admit its a weakness and you will start seeing yourself able to limit your portions of these. It is all about self-love and keeping BUSY!! Thats how I lost my weight and kept it off- keeping busy! My ultimate secret :) Good luck hun!

First off, don't diet. Wait for hunger and eat when you are hungry. Eat what you want. Try not to overeat - it takes practice. Your brain is feeding on the serotonin uptake from the chocolate and trytophan from the cheese (two neurotransmitters that make a person feel calm).

You could have an insulin resistance problem. Insulin resistance is notorious for increasing one's appetite.

Here is something to try, too. Eat only 200 - 300 calories per eating session. Smaller meals (but only when hungry) will decrease insulin output. Less insulin = less hunger and less cravings.
