get a cotton polyester mix ..like 60/40....

cotton is a breathable material...it allows more air in and out...polyester is pretty much the opposite..less air..which could cause you to sweat more....

I suggest the mix...because cotton by itself is not as durable...wrinkles..and may shrink ....with a mix the material will last longer (you cannot hardly wear out polyester )..less likely to wrinkle ,ball up , or shrink......

my mom worked with fabric for years...trust me ...with a mix you get the best both materials have to offer...

If you have a choice between cotton and polyester- always get cotton. Cotton is cooler and if you sweat a lot, it also absorbs odor so that you don't smell bad! Cotton all the way!

Cotton is comfortable and if you are in a warmer climate or indoors its great. But if you are exercising outdoors in colder climates it may not be the best choice.

Cotton absorbs water and does not let it go. It looses its ability to keep you warm when its wet. In this case Polyester or other synthetic materials are better. For natural materials, Wool is one of the best choices for cold weather.

Polyester is not a natural fibre. It will definately make you sweat more! Cotton, being natural, tends to absorb the sweat and you will feel more comfortable.

the circulation of air is more in cotton than in polyester and if you sweat then cotton is any day the best bet cause you will end up perspiring in your polyster and will start to get sticky on you

Cotton breathes better and doesn't react with persperation like polyester does...that's what I would go with...and cotton is warmer.
