Mine was the 'Jobs' Ladybird books, my mom got me the Doctor/ nurse one coz i'd got to go into hospital - i was 4 and after she'd read it to me a few times i wasn't scared anymore - 2/6d well spent! I also loved the fireman and policeman ones too! My sister had all the story ones, Rumplestilskin, Cinderella, etc - I'm going in the attic now to sort them out! Thanks for that, give you a star!!!

I didn't know those books were Ladybird Books. I guess my favorite was the book about the little old lady who lived in a shoe. Wait I know, Jack and the Bean Stalk.

The wolf and the 3 little kids was one of my faves. I used to get really scared when my mum told me the story though. I knew the wolf would dip his paw in flour and eat chalk to distint his voice so the kids thought it was their mum. And they fell for it, and he caught all of them apart from one who hid inside the clock. He was my 'hero' as he saved them all. How sad do I sound....... lol.
