Absolutley spell it Sinead, as it was intended to be! Your ruining a traditional irish name by changing the spelling to something daft! My 2 friends are called Sinead and their middle names are Niamh and Mary, if that helps! Most people give their child a middle name after a favourite relative I thought? Good Luck anyway!

I would say Sinead as this is the original spelling and I have never seen it spelt the other way! Try another irish name like Mariah in the middle maybe. I suppose it depends on your last name too.

I like the Sinead spelling and for a middle name I'd stick to the Irish there e.g. Ciara, Finnoula, there is a good site for these babynamesofireland.com

I'd go with Sinead, at least its recognisable.

I hate this whole new baby name thing. People seem to forget that our little ones have to go through their whole lives with these names. Stop trying to be trendy/patriotic/celeb style and think of how the name will suit throughout baby's life. Aged 3 months, 13 years, 30, 80!!!

Stay with the original Sinead -
for middle names think about your surname and make sure you dont leave your child with a combination of embarrasing initials
