We have recently read a book called The Lord Of The Flies and now we need to do an essay on:
Is there a such thing as evil?

Golding, the author, is trying to say that there is evil in everyone and people can turn evil without civilisation/laws/rules.

But I don't know how to write that in detail and I need more information.

I need to write two sides of A4 paper and not just two lines! And I dont know what else to write about!

If you haven't read the book plz mention that you haven't. I will read everyones though.

You have to find a passage that exemplifies what you're trying to say. It's years since I read the book but there must be some key passages that demonstrate the descent into lawlessness. You should consider doing fine detail analysis of one of those passages for the volume you need for your project. Think about two things:
What the passage says literally and in great detail and the goal that you're trying to explicate.

I remember doing something similar in school and having to read the book then write a similar kind of essay.

It's not necessarily about evil, more about instinct, survival and how to "society" that appears evil. Look at it that way and maybe you will be able to write more than two lines lol.

I think you could relate that book with something from your daily life... find a significant passage and try to make a comparison. It's not that hard because the book is pretty clear...

Dont tell anyone I said this but...there is a MOVIE of the book.

There are also things called Cliffnotes that have shortened versions of many novels.

Ask yourself this...what is YOUR definition of evil?
