Capitol or capital?

I'm not sure of the capitol but the capital is Paris

Oooh thats a tough one. the capitAl is obviously Paris, however if you're looking for La Place du CapitOle, it's in Toulouse, in the south-west of France.

If you mean by Capitol - the building occupied by a state legislature then its the French National Assembly. If you meant capital city then as others have said it's Paris

National Assembly of France it's in the capital (paris) not far form hotel the ville where the president jack chirac reside and it's the government office.
