Dude, 360 all the way! The graphics on it make a wii look like a little old NES.

It's not about moving around, it's about experience, 360 is high def, and goes live...

ok, no messing about now. The 360 is a great console, its got a good library of games, action, shoot em' ups, driving games. If you like games like this then the 360 is best, but the Wii is something different all together, great multiplayer games and just lots of fun. The best game on the Wii at the moment is Zelda without a doubt, this is an amazing game, Personally there is nothing good on the Wii, yet. Please no one agrue with me when i say this but Redsteel is ****, its an average shooter, and the controls do not save the game. Supermonkeyball, Excite Truck etc etc are all good games but very average for the new standard that the Wii capable of, it has better graphics than the gamecube and even that ran resident evil 4 with ease. We expect much better from this console and it will be delivered as companys learn the machines talents, given time this machine will deliver the goods, the new super mario, metroid prime, theres no doubt that these games will be Triple A titles, be patient and you will discover what this machine has to offer.
Now going back to the 360, it didnt exactly have great launch titles and we've been waiting patiently for some good games, and we've been blessed with gears of war, this game is truely spectacular to watch and play and shows what this machine is capable of, and the great things that are to come. But it hasnt stopped there, games like oblivion, fight night round 3, crackdown, lost planet and rainbow six vegas show that this machine has set the bar, for all to follow. Forget which company has sold more consoles, the 360 is the one to go for at the moment and if you have a HD tv then what the **** are you wating for, you can have great HD gaming from £199.
Now the Ps3, everyone is going on about this machine, blue ray this, hard drive that blah blah balahahahalaah, Ok there is no doubt that this machine is very powerful, but you are not going to be stunned at launch, yes the games are good, the graphics are good, but there is not anything that has blown us away yet, yes it is early but this will take time maybe a year or more for the truely great games to show its ultimate power. At the moment we are getting stuff like fight night which is being ported over with the same issues that the 360 version had. Ok virtual fighter 5, the graphics are remarkable, but it plays too similar to the ps2 version, Oblivion the same as the 360 with slightly better graphics. Motorstorm again great graphics, but repetative gameplay, this machine uses blue ray for ***** sake, the games should come with many more features. So do not be tempted to buy this machine at launch, you will have a nice shiney machine under your tv, but it wont be doing much more than your 360 does at this time, wait at least 6 months then you will have a good variety of games to choose from. So the 360 is the way at the moment, for the time being.

I personally think thats a pretty difficult question to get a definitive answer to. It depends what you are looking for in a games console. The 360, graphically, is far superior to the Wii. However the fun and fitness factor of the Wii also gets top marks. From a point of view of all the publicity there has been lately about our kids turning into a generation of couch potatoes due to games consoles I think Wii have nailed it by allowing the next generation to have the enjoyment of the games whilst still getting themselves moving. As I said though it all depends on what you are looking for in a console.

This depends...

If you are a computer gamer, you probably don't want an XBOX 360, because it's going to just have a lot of the same games that you already play on your computer again, with less players and worse graphics than your PC is capable of. So, if you're an avid PC gamer, I'd recommend against an XBOX 360. Get a Wii in this case, because the games on Wii are often non-traditional. Therefore you get all the gamecube games, and new and interesting Wii games (WarioWare is a blast), plus most of the fun to be had on an XBOX 360 sitting on your PC.

If you are NOT an avid PC gamer, and are interested in classic gameplay styles using a standard controller, then you may want to consider the XBOX 360. It provides good online play, and the same kind of games you've probably been playing on your XBOX or PS2.

Personally, I like all games, but, I am a PC gamer, so I chose the Wii, and I do not regret this decision. For the price of XBOX live, you're better off to just get Gametap on your PC, and play the thousands of online PC games...

the 360 is a very good system but its completely pointless if you have a gaming PC (not mac they dont count) and PC's will always surpass consoles but if you have a gaming PC then wii is great i have a wii and a pc and my wii is the best investment ever i dont need a 360 or an xbox because i have a PC

I would say 360 because of next gen games but I would say the Wii is more innovated in the way we play games,I have got 360 and will be getting a Wii as well because of Zelda.

2 ways to look at it.....

If u wanna jus have plain fun in completely different perspective, WII hands down... the whole new controller movement sensor is just brilliant.. i've tried it at a friend's place and i personally loved it.. it might not be graphically comparable to the X360, but it sure is helluva lot of fun.....

The X360 is a really good console.. i have one myself, and its really neat.. i can do a lot of stuff on it and the graphics are just mind blowing.. Gears of War is pretty high on my list of fav games... and Halo 3 is comin up soon...
